1.In order to regulate the reception of visitors to Taipei City Traffic Information Center (the Center), the Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government, has hereby established these rules. 2.When No Reservation Is Needed: During both winter vacation (from January 15 to February 15) and summer vacation (from July 1 to August 30), the Center is open to visitors every Wednesday and Friday from 3PM to 5PM, when no reservation is needed. To visit, please inquire the Information Desk at Taipei Bus Station by 3PM in the above designated periods, with an ID (e.g., national ID card or driver's license), when a guided tour is provided. 3.When A Reservation Is Needed: Aside from the periods designated in above 1., the Center is open to visitors with a reservation. The opening time is from 9AM to 12PM in the morning and from 2PM to 5PM in the afternoon, every day except national holidays and festival days (including consecutive Saturdays and Sundays thereof) as designated by Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan. To make a reservation, please complete the Visitor Application Form of the Center and email to ga_atis@mail.taipei.gov.tw. After receiving a reply email confirming the reservation, please report to the Information Desk at the back of Taipei Bus Station (Address: No. 32, Huayin Street), with an ID (e.g., national ID card or driver's license) at the appointed visit time. 4.When making a reservation, please refer to the Visit Schedule of the Center and choose among the available slots. A reservation should be made 6 days in advance. A cancelation should be made to the Center, at the latest, 1 working day in advance. 5.Where English guiding tours or wheelchair accessibility are required, please indicate the requirements in the Visitor Application Form. Where there is a person from Mainland China in the group, it is necessary to complete the Mainland Chinese Visitors Register. 6.Where the number of registered visitors is less than 5 in a particular slot in a normal day or less than 10 in a particular slot in a holiday, the organizer reserves the right to assign the application in slots in the Visit Schedule when there are already larger groups. Where the number of registered visitors are more than 50 in a particular slot, it is advisable to split the group into two or more groups (in consecutive slots when necessary), to ensure the quality of the guided tours. 7.Visitors to the Center agree not to make loud noises, eat, drink, smoke, consume alcohol, chew gums or betel nuts, wear indecent outfit or footwear, be accompanied by a pet, or carry hazardous materials, as well as to observe other instructions of the guide. Visitors also agree to be liable for any damage to equipment of the Center caused by deliberate destruction or improper handling.
