Article 1
The Taipei City Government (hereinafter referred to as "this Government") makes this Fee Standard pursuant to Paragraph 2, Article 22 of the Freedom of Government Information Law (hereinafter referred to as the "Law") for establishing the freedom of government information system, facilitating people to share and utilize government information, protecting people's right to know, improving people's understanding, trust and supervision of public affairs, and promoting participation in democracy.

Article 2
The fees for applications for provision of government information of this Government and its municipal organizations and schools shall be determined by this Fee Standard unless otherwise provided for in other applicable laws or regulations.

Article 3
The fee for examination, transcription or photographing of the government information shall be calculated at NT$20 per 2 hours; if time is less than 2 hours, it shall be rounded up to 2 hours for purpose of calculation.

Article 4
The fee standard for re-production or duplication of the government information are listed in the fee schedule annexed hereto.
If the fee schedule referred to in the preceding paragraph does not specify the fees for re-production or duplication of certain items, the fees therefor shall be calculated based upon the cost of the re-production or duplication.

Article 5
If postal delivery of the re-produced or duplicated government information is requested, the postal service fee shall be calculated by the actual postage paid plus NT$50 handling fee for each delivery.

Article 6
The fee may be waived in the event that the government information applied for is the business or educational promotion materials set forth in Paragraph 1, Article 12 of the Charges and Fees Act.

Article 7
The provisions of this Fee Standard shall be applicable mutatis mutandis to the applications for examination, transcription, photocopying or photographing of the relevant materials and records made pursuant to Article 46 of the Administrative Procedure Act.

Article 8
This Fee Standard shall be implemented on the date of promulgation.
