Full text of 9 points revised and promulgated in accordance with (2018) Bei-Shi-Kon-Di-Zi No.10760131361 Order of Taipei City Government on October 2nd, 2018 and effective as from January 1st, 2019
  • 1.The Directions are promulgated pursuant to Article 3 of Regulations on Use of the Site and Facility managed by Taipei City Government and Subordinated Agencies.
  • 2.The sites that can be used in accordance with the Directions are tent spaces, pavilions, squares and related attached facilities of Bishan campsite and Guizikeng campsite (hereinafter referred to as the campsites) in Taipei City, excluding management office and boiler room, that facilities managed or prohibited by the management organization announcement.
  • 3.The management organization of the campsites is Geotechnical Engineering Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government (hereinafter referred to as GEO).
  • 4.The use of campsites is limited to camping or other leisure activities. However, activities which are for the promotion of economic, cultural, and non-profit filming or approved by GEO are not limited here.
  • 5.The principle of applying for camping is two days and one night. However, activities which do not seriously hinder others' rights to use the campsites and have been approved by GEO are not limited here. The opening, arrival and departure times of the campsites will be announced separately by GEO.
  • 6.According to the number of group member and the nature of activity, the categories of applying for campsites are shown as following: (1)If the number of a camping group member does not exceed 100, it is called a general camping, permitting an application for a camping space. (2)If the number of a camping group member exceeds 100, it is called a specialized camping, permitting the application for the whole area of a campsite within a period of time. (3)If the number of a camping group member exceeds 50, it is permitted to apply for specific facilities for group activity. General camping applicants should apply in 30 to 7 days before the camping day by GEO's website. In addition, if there are available camping spaces on the same day, it is allowed for anyone to apply for camping space on site. Specialized camping and group activity applicants should apply in 90 to 40 days before the camping day in written from. The "a period of time" of above Paragraph 1 and the applying procedure and application forms of above Paragraph 1 and 2 will be announced by GEO separately.
  • 7.Applicants who applied first has the priority to use the campsite.
  • 8.The actual attendee of general camping should exceed half of the applying number. The actual attendee of specialized camping and group activity should exceed three quarters of the applying number. After the application is approved, if the camping can't be held as scheduled, except for not attributable to applicants, general camping applicants should inform GEO in written in 7 days before the camping day, while specialized camping and group activity applicants should inform GEO in written in 15 days before the camping day.
  • 9.In circumstance of natural disaster or force majeure, campsites will be closed temporarily. Approved applicants who haven't entered the campsite are not allowed to enter, a who have entered the campsite should leave the campsite by following the instructions of GEO.
