Promulgated by BEI-SHI-KE-YI-ZI Order No. (108) No.10830011931, Taipei City Government on March 20th, 2019 and effective as from April 1st, 2019
  • 1. This benchmark is formulated and determined in accordance with Article 10 of the Charges and Fees Act and Article 6 of the Measures for the Use and Management of Venues by Affiliated Units of the Taipei City Government.
  • 2. The authority responsible for this benchmark is the Hakka Affairs Commission, Taipei City Government (hereinafter referred to as the HAC).
  • 3. The venues covered by this Benchmark are the Taipei Hakka Culture Hall, the conference and lecture rooms of Taipei Hakka Art and Culture Center, and the performance stage area at Floor 1 and the seminar rooms at B1 of Taipei Hakka Library and Video Center.
  • 4. The HAC's venue fees collection benchmark is shown in the attached table.
  • 5. Charges may be reduced (waived) if one of the following conditions is met: (1) Agencies (institutions) and schools affiliated to the Taipei City Government (hereinafter referred to as the Government) are exempt from venue fees collection, guarantee deposits and other charges. (2) School activities co-sponsored or co-organized with the various governmental agencies (institutions) of the Government shall be exempted from venue fees collection and guarantee deposits by official application and subject to the approval of this HAC. (3) For those assisting the HAC in carrying out its work of teaching the Hakka language, promotion of Hakka culture or other activities, the HAC may, in accordance with Paragraph 1 of Article 12 exempt the venue fee collection for the use of the premises and reduce utility charges. (4) Use one application for the same venue for 12 consecutive times or more (including the 12th time) and the venue fee shall be collected on the basis of long-term usage fees.
  • 6. Revenue collected from the premises of the HAC shall be settled in accordance with the legal procedures and remitted to the City Treasury.
